Obituary

Aaron Schneider, 31 of Greenbush, MN passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in Greenbush, MN.

Aaron Joe Schneider was born September 21, 1991, in Thief River Falls, MN the son of David and Susan (Bergsnev) Schneider. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. He attended Challenger Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls with the class of 2010.

Following high school, Aaron worked various places in the area including DK Farms near Greenbush, MN, Davidson Construction in Holt, MN, and he was currently working at Jon's Auto in Greenbush. Aaron enjoyed and loved his work especially farming, paving, and truck driving.

Aaron had a fantastic sense of humor, loved playing golf, pool, hockey, grilling for his family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, spending time outdoors, and traveling slow down a gravel road. He was a very good friend and was the type of man who would drop whatever he was doing to help anyone in need. Aaron seemed to know everyone and was friends with so many as he had a personality that people gravitated towards.

On September 4, 2021, Aaron married the love of his life, Jaci Gumeringer at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. Together they made their home in Greenbush where they started raising their sons, Branson (6) and Archie (4 ½ months). Aaron was a really "hands on" dad and was somewhat old school when it came to raising his kids. He loved being outdoors with his children, riding snowmobile & 4-wheeler, going for drives with Branson to look for deer, and spending time at the Diamond Willow Hunting Cabin. Aaron loved going to the races in Greenbush, Grand Forks, and watching NASCAR on Sundays.

Aaron was an active member of the Greenbush Fire Department. He would devote any amount of his time necessary, as they were his second family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jaci; sons, Branson & Archie all of Greenbush; mother, Sue (Ken Grundhaus) Schneider of Thief River Falls; father, Dave (Veronica) Schneider of Blaine, MN; siblings, Kimberly (Chad) Jansen of Zimmerman, MN, Jeffrey (Alicia) Schneider of Thief River Falls, and Jason Schneider of Rapid City, SD; nieces and nephews, Will, Orin, Annie, Paisley, Carter, Carli, Jaxen, Dylan, Tayten, Chloe, Breah, Brynleigh; life-long friend of the family, "Grandpa" Leonard Kukowski of Greenbush; mother-in-law, Donna Gumeringer of Bemidji, MN; father-in-law, Paul Gumeringer of Harvey, ND; grandmother-in-law, Sylvia Koziol of Fergus Falls, MN; sister-in-law, Tana (Nate) Sletten of Wannaska, MN; brother-in-law, Cody Gumeringer of Layton, UT; Godchildren, Jazlynn Stennes, Annie Jansen, Carter and Carli Schneider; along with many other relatives and friends.
