Adeline Addie Prevost, 86, died on Sunday, May 29, 2005 at First Care Health Services, Fosston, MN.

Adeline Hattie Hruby was born on August 1, 1918 the daughter of Benjamin and Rosalie (Edel) Hruby in Star Township, Pennington County, Erie, Minnesota. She was baptized in Erie, MN and confirmed at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee. In her younger days, her and her sisters Louise, Violet and DeLores would sing for many events in the area, she enjoyed singing and playing her organ.

She was previously married to Gynther Gunderson in North Carolina. On October 15, 1966, she was united in marriage to Erwin Prevost in Cudahy, Wis, the couple moved to Oklee in 1978. Addie worked at Appleton Electric Co, South Milwaukee, Wis, Firestone and Jensen Mink Farm. Addie loved her work and being with her cousins, nieces and nephews, Wade, Scott, Kurt Bakke and Darwin Tanem were like grandchildren to her.

After returning to Oklee she was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, active with the one fund drive and Woodmen of the World. She loved to be with people, enjoyed life to the fullest and helped anyone in need. Addie loved working outside in her yard and her favorite flower was the Dandelion.

Addie is survived by her sister DeLores Healy, San Mateo, CA; foster sister Darlene (John) Eisbrener, Trail, MN, brother in law Paul Sanstrum, Hood River , OR; sister in law Marie Hruby, Fergus Falls, MN; godson Wade Bakke, Gonvick, MN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Gynther Gunderson, 2nd husband Erwin Prevost; brothers Lewis and Rudolph; sisters Frances Sunsdahl, Alice Parson, Lillian Tanem, Rose Aaknes, Louise Sanstrum and Violet Radniecki.
