Aggie Gilbert, 86, died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN

Aggie Herrington Gilbert was born February 27, 1919 to Everett and Ida Mae (Smith) Herrington in Baxley, GA. She attended high school in Baxley. She worked on the family farm until going to Jacksonville, FL to work in a drug store.

On June 26, 1943, Aggie married George Gilbert, where he was stationed in the Navy at Jacksonville, FL.

They moved to Wasco, CA in 1945, then to Chamberlain, SD in 1952. She worked in the office, for Gilberts Apartments and Mobile Home Sales.

Aggie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Episcopal Church in Chamberlain, SD. She enjoyed flower gardening and sewing.

Survived by husband, George; 2 sons, Roger and wife, Jackie, Topeka, KS and George, Jr., Los Vegas, NV; a daughter, Betty and husband, Ken Johnson, Thief River Falls, MN; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Cleveland, Denver, CO, Kevin (Nicky) Johnson, Warren, MN, Dusty Gilbert and Travis Gilbert both of Topeka, KS and Troy Gilbert of Nebraska; 5 great grandchildren, Madison Cleveland, Jaeden Lovely, Koby Johnson, Kenny Johnson and Dillon Gilbert.
