Agnes Thibert, 91, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Wednesday, September 1, 1999 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 4, 1999 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 Prayer service and also one hour prior to services on Saturday all at the church.

Agnes Frances Thibert was born October 10, 1907 in Gentilly, MN daughter of Francis and Anilda (Desgrosellier) LaBonte. She was raised and attended school in Crookston, MN. On September 30, 1925 she was united in marriage to George A Thibert in Crookston, MN. The couple lived in Crookston until 1935 when they moved to Plummer, MN where they operated a garage until 1940. In 1940 they moved to Red Lake Falls where they owned and operated the Thiberts Chevrolet and Buick Company. George passed away January 30, 1974.
Agnes was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls and the Guild, St. Anns Society and the French Club.
She is survived by her children Vern Thibert (Donna) of Snohomish, WA; Roger Thibert (JoAnn) of Red Lake Falls, MN and Gerald Thibert (Darlene) of Mentor, MN; Nancy LaHaise (Harold) of Little Canada, MN: daughter in law Betty Thibert of Red Lake Falls, MN: 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Dwight Thibert and three sisters Edna Knudsen, Nora Foster and Marie LaChance.
