Albert Doyea, 66, of Brooks, MN died on Saturday, November 27, 1999 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at 11:00 AM in the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls with Reverend Clarence Johnson Officiating. Burial will be held in the Emardville Cemetery near Plummer, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home only.

Albert Arthur Doyea was born December 25, 1932 in Garnes Township, Red Lake County, MN son of Paul and Ingaborg Belle (Olson) Doyea. He was raised and attended school near Brooks. Albert served in the US Army for two years. Following his honorable discharge he returned to the Brooks area where he worked for several places, retiring from Homark Homes in Red Lake Falls in 1998. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Plummer, MN. Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.

Albert is survived by his son Allan (Leah) Olson and granddaughter Allysa of Morganfield, Ky; sisters Evelyn (Willard) Lidenberg of Dilworth, MN and Clarice Thornton of Las Vegas, NV and one brother Tom (Colleen) Doyea of Dilworth, MN: several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother John and one sister Melba.
