Alexandra Jo Ellingson was born August 20, 1995 in Thief River Falls, MN the daughter of Dale Westerlund and Tara Weigel.  She was baptized and confirmed at Oak Ridge Lutheran Church, rural Thief River Falls.  Alex attended Challenger Elementary and Lincoln High Schools in Thief River Falls, graduating with the class of 2013.

On September 1, 2015, Alex began a relationship with Kenneth John Strand, Junior and the two soon became soulmates. Out of this love, Kenneth John Strand III "KJ" was born March 28, 2017.

She worked at Petro Pumper, Frasier's, The Lantern, Michael's Meats and Elite Video.

Alex enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, corn hole, listening to music, traveling, scrapbooking, making jewelry, tie-dye shirts, spending time with family and friends. She had a wonderful smile, a huge heart, was feisty, spunky, funny was a Tom Boy and loved snuggling and giving hugs. Alex will truly be missed by everyone whom she had a chance to touch their heart.

Alexandra Jo Ellingson of Thief River Falls, MN died on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Thief River Falls at the age of 23 years, 7 months and 7 days.  May her memory be blessed.
