Alice Margaret Christianson, 94, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on November 16, 2000 at Riverview Nursing Home in Crookston, MN. Arrangements with the Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Dennis Wieland Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Alice Margaret Christianson was born in Polk County, MN May 1, 1906 daughter of the late Cleophas and Delima (Breault) Bombardier. Her early years of education were in a country school. Her main responsibility was home helping to take care of her mother, brothers and sisters. Alice has been a resident of Red Lake County before residing in the Riverview Nursing Home in Crookston, MN. She enjoyed music and dancing.
Alice married Lloyd Demarais on June 11, 1928. Lloyd passed away April 27, 1997. Her second Marriage was to Carl Christianson on June 30, 1965. Carl passed away March 25, 1984.
She is survived by her 11 children Lloyd Jr. (Agnes) Demarais of Rochester, MI, Robert (Elaine) Demarais of So. Milwaukee, WI, Kathleen (Gordon) Gunderson of Milwaukee, WI, Louis (Gloria) Demarais of Hazen, ND, Ann (Constantine) Chioles of Barrington, IL, Celeste Kibbee of Denver, CO, Curtis Demarais of Fargo, ND, Richard (Alice) Demarais of Lawton, OK, Judy (Eugene) Bauer of Wilson, WI; Bernard (Janice) Demarais of Mesa, AZ, Michael (Janet) Demarais of Blaine, MN. Two sisters Evelyn Scully of Crookston, MN, Ceciel Dubuque of Crookston, MN, one brother Robert (Florence) Bombardier of Crookston, MN; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Alice is preceded in death by two daughters Audrey Lanoff and Janyce Taylor, two sisters and two brothers Leona Seper, Ursula Seper, Maurice and Harvey Bombardier.
