Alice Dagen, 77, died Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN, with Reverend Karen Moberg officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be 4 " 8 PM, Monday, December 9, 2002 at the Johnson Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN and for one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Alice H Lieberg was born February 2, 1925 to Ben and Ida Lieberg in Haug, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Alice attended school in Greenbush and at Bemidji State.

On June 26, 1948, Alice was united in marriage to Merle Dagen in Greenbush, MN. The couple was life long farmers in the North Township area. The couple moved to Thief River Falls in 1990.

Alice taught school for many years and also took pleasure in gardening, sewing, cooking, reading, and traveling. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and served on many committees.

Survivors include three daughters, Susan Alexander, Kalamazoo, MI, Myrna Boman, Ft. Pierce, FL and Stephanie Dagen, Thief River Falls, MN; three grandchildren, Amy Alexander, Kalamazoo, MI, Robert and Michael Boman, Ft. Pierce, FL and one great grandchild Alexander Guzior.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Merle on July 3, 1995, and one brother Axel Lieberg.
