Alice Marie Lehnhoff, 75, of Thief River Falls, MN died peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Meritcare Palliative Care in Fargo, ND.

Funeral Services will be held at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2010 with Reverend Rob Kopp officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.

Alice Marie (Patterson) Lehnhoff was born December 23, 1934 at home in Jackson, MN the daughter of Emery Patterson and Bertha (Atkins) Patterson. As a baby she was baptized in Jackson and attended school in the Jackson area where she graduated from high school in 1954.

On July 6, 1957 Alice and LeRoy Lehnhoff were united in marriage. Together, they made their home in Jackson. They lived in several places in Minnesota while raising their family and in 1997 Alice and LeRoy moved to St. Hilaire, MN where they lived until last year. Since then, they have made their home in Thief River Falls.

Alice enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to prepare and serve food for them and always had each of her family members favorite items to eat on hand. She had a joyful personality. Some of her favorite pastimes include reading the Bible, crocheting, knitting, reading westerns, and taking care of her family. Alice was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; daughter, Patricia (Timothy) Pyle of Sims, Indiana; daughter, LeAnn (Charles) Pyle of Thermopolis, Wyoming; daughter, Helen Lehnhoff of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; son, Ben Lehnhoff of Green River, Utah; son, Lewis (Betty Lopez) Lehnhoff of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lewis and one granddaughter, Erica.
