Allen Manderud, 51, died on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at McIntosh Manor in McIntosh, MN.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at the Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend John Wollenzien officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

Allen Charles Manderud was born on December 29, 1951 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Rudolph and Delores (Campbell) Manderud. He attended school in Thief River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1970. Following High School Allen began working for Arctic. He also worked for Houston Truss while living in Houston, TX for a couple of years. Allen returned to Thief River Falls and worked at Arctic until 1997, when he had to quit because of his health. He has lived at McIntosh Manor since June 28, 1999.

Allen enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and partying.

Allen is survived by his mother, Delores, of Thief River Falls, MN; two brothers: Roy Manderud of Thief River Falls, MN and Walter Manderud of Crookston, MN; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Rudolph; and his sister, Vivian.
