Alma Gagner, 89, died on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2008 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Red Lake Falls, MN.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN with a 7:00 P.M. prayer service on Thursday evening and also at the church for one hour prior the funeral mass.
Alma Delia Bruneau was born on May 28, 1919 to Omer and Exena (Chatel) Bruneau in Terrebonne, MN. She grew up and attended school in the Terrebonne area.
She was united in marriage to Wilfred J. Gagner on November 14, 1939. Alma was a homemaker and mother for many years raising 12 children. She also was a fuller brush representative and in her later years was the site manager for the senior meals at Sunview Center for about 16 years.
Alma was an avid gardener, providing for her family. She enjoyed quilting, baking, and sewing. Alma played many games of bingo and loved to play whist. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, St. Josephs Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, and the Red Hat Society.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred in 1989, infant son, Leon, her parents Omer & Exena Bruneau, 6 brothers & sisters Rose Cronkite, Irene Andersen, Marie Bourgeois, Henry Bruneau, Leonard Bruneau, Leo Bruneau, granddaughter, Kathy Hagl, and great-grandsons, Sebastian Cooley and Andrew Slinninger.
