Obituary


Aloysius Al A. Radniecki 81, of Oklee, MN died on Thursday, July 13, 2000 at Perham Memorial Hospital in Perham, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 17, 2000 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN with Father Gary LaMoine and Deacon John Eisbrener Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at the Johnson Funeral Service Chapel in Oklee and also one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Aloysius Anthony Radniecki was born April 2, 1919 in Deer Park Township, near Oklee, MN son of the late John and Emma (Vattendahl) Radniecki. He was raised in Deer Park Township and attended rural grade school there graduating from Lincoln High School in 1937 at Thief River Falls, MN. Al attended Hansen Welding School in Fargo for two years. In 1942 he entered the US Army serving during W.W.II being honorably discharged in 1945. On December 29, 1945 Al was united in marriage to Violet Hruby at Plummer, MN. Al was a life long construction worker and farmer.
Al enjoyed fishing with his family, reading, discussing politics and attending sporting events. He served of the Oklee City council, the Church Council and the senior Citizen board for Oklee. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the VFW #6426 in Trail, MN, the Woodman of the world and the Knights of Columbus council #4619 in Thief River Falls, MN.
Al is survived by his wife of 55 years Violet Radniecki of New York Mills, MN, three sons Dean (Angela) Radniecki of Hoyt Lakes, MN, Anthony Radniecki of Fargo, ND and Matthew (Julie) Radniecki of New York Mills, MN; five grandchildren Joe Radniecki, Bob (Andi) Radniecki, Monica (Mike) Hendrickson, Tayler Radniecki, Trudy Radniecki: three great-grandchildren Joshua Radniecki, Rebecca and Benjamin Hendrickson. Brothers Casimir (Wylma) Radniecki, Roman (Elaine) Radniecki and Virgil (Therese) Radniecki all of Oklee, MN and Richard (LaVonne) Radniecki in Arizona, one sister Catherine (Roy) Jorgenson of Thief River Falls, MN; two sisters in law Clara Radniecki of Oklee and Sybil Radniecki of Brainerd, MN, numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Stanley Radniecki and Jack Radniecki and sisters Anne Grimes and Helen Frank.
