Angela 'Angie' Joy Geddes-Klemz, 56 years old, of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, April15th, 2024 at Vibra Hospital inside of Sanford Medical Center in West Fargo, North Dakota.

Angie's Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at the St. Hillaire, MN Community Center. Visitation began at 11 am followed with Celebration service at  11:30 am.

Angela Geddes was born on April 13th, 1968 at the Ada Hospital in Ada, MN, to Margaret 'Peggy' & Rodger. She joined two older sisters, grew up on the farm, and graduated from Ada High School in1986. Following her graduation, Angie moved to Fargo, ND to pursue some college at Moorhead State, Concordia University, & Interstate Business College.

Angie met her first husband, Paul Klemz, in high school and they were married in1989. Together they had one son, David, born in 1990, and shortly after Angie and David moved to Colorado. In 2000, while in Colorado, she married Alfred Abeyta and together they had one daughter, Aleshia, born in 2001. Angie met Dale Diaz in1996 and they were best friends from the start. In 2005, Dale and Angie's love was set and he stepped in to become a father to Aleshia. Together Angie & Dale started fostering Destiny, born in 2008, in 2010, and adopted in 2013. The family grew with the addition of Destiny and extended in love to Angie's step-son Dale 'D' Diaz Jr. After 27 years in Colorado,

Angie and her family moved back to Minnesota to be close to her entire family again.

Angie had a huge heart and liked to help everyone, human and animal related. She had the biggest laugh (and voice), that always filled a room. Angie enjoyed a wide range of activities during her time here. She cherished the precious moments at the lake with her family, gardening, hanging out with her dog, Chewy, who was always by her side,

singing karaoke and music sessions, pontoon rides, campfires, parades, and social activities. Angie loved her time as a Special Ed Caretaker, her 'honorary' Activities Director duties for Valley Home, where she lived, and all the people she Auntied' for over the years. She especially loved spending time with her husband, Dale. He was her best friend as they continued to raise Destiny and watch the family grow. While Angie did not have any human grandchildren, she thoroughly enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her grand-pups, Compton (David) & Mr. Luka (Aleshia).

Angela is survived by her husband, Dale Diaz & loving dog, Chewy. Her children, David (Christy) Klemz, Aleshia Abeyta, Destiny Geddes-Daily, and Dale Diaz (Jr). Her parents, Rodger (Rhonda) Geddes and Margaret (Dennis) Gordon. Her sisters, Kari (Jerry) Nelson and Tammy (Jerod) Haugen. Her nieces & nephews, Justin (Angie) Olson, Brianna Olson, Devin/ Dawson/ Mason Haugen, Aaden/ Jersey Olson, Jaxon Ewalt, Cameron Hixson, various Aunts & Uncles, and many friends she considered family.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents and uncles Jerry, Jim & Mike.
