Ann Viola Cardinal, age 100, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Benedictine Living Community in Osseo, Minnesota.

A graveside service for Ann will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, near Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bob Schreiner presiding. Lunch and fellowship will follow the graveside service at The Spot in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Ann was born on August 26, 1924, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, to Ewert and Annie (Schmidt) Rewertz. She was baptized into the Christian Faith at Plummer, MN and confirmed at Red Lake Falls, MN.  She attended school at Thief River Falls, MN.

In August of 1947, Ann was united in marriage to Arthur Cardinal.  She was a housewife and also employed as a nurse's aide. She was a lifelong resident of Minnesota and dedicated her life to caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cardinal, and her children Darlene, Janet, Nancy, and Debbie. Ann is survived by her children Jo Ann Jones (Walter), Dora Cardinal (Ted), Peggy Gortze (Mark), and Michael Cardinal (Mary Jo). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.

Ann's life was one of love and devotion to her family. May her memory be blessed.
