Anna Kriel, 84, died on Friday, July 27, 2007 at Bethany Community in Alexandria, MN.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Ekelund Lutheran Church in rural Goodridge, MN with Reverend Robert Dahlen officiating. Burial will be at the Star Cemetery, Star Township, Pennington County, MN.

Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. on Monday, July 30, 2007 at Johnson Funeral in Thief River Falls, MN with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer service on Monday evening and at the church for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Anna Marie Iverson was born on August 20, 1922 in Star Township, the daughter of Gust and Jennie (Bammrud) Iverson. She attended Country School. Anna was united in marriage to Kenneth Kriel on September 3, 1939. The couple lived on a farm in Star Township for many years. Anna enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her family and helping on the farm.

Anna was a member of Ekelund Lutheran Church and enjoyed her activities with the Ekelund Ladies Aid. She loved spending time and having coffee time with her family and friends.

Anna is survived by four children: Karen (Julian) Loiland of Ortonville, MN, Joyce (Robert) Albright of Barnesville, MN, Robert (Lonnie) Kriel of Alexandria, MN and Bruce (Connie) Kriel of Phoenix, AZ; fourteen grandchildren: Dan Loiland, Craig (Kim) Loiland, JoAnn (Jeffrey) Malzahn, James (Patty) Loiland, Jonathan (Erica) Loiland, Matthew (Lisa Isaksson) Albright, Jeremy and (fianc Amy Drayton) Albright, Emily Albright, Nathan (Elizabeth) Kriel, Lucas (Desiree) Kriel, Mackenzie Kriel, Nolan (Jess) Kriel, Jackson (fianc Tricia Weiers) Kriel and Rawley Kriel; one brother, Vernon (Clara) Iverson of Goodridge, MN; two sisters, Geneva Sparby of Bloomington, MN and Ruth (Donald) Mosbeck of St. Hilaire, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; one son, Dale; two brothers, Glennie and Alfred Iverson.
