Obituary

Annalou D. Helle, 71, of Thief River Falls, MN died on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Funeral services for Annalou Helle will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Thief River Falls with Reverend Rob Kopp Officiating. Burial will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at the United Methodist Church and also one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Annalou Dorothy Helle was born February 5, 1939 at Shawano County, near Red Springs, WI daughter of the late Roy and Louanna (Tousey) Miller. She attended Bowler High School in Bowler, WI. Following her graduation she and her sisters attended Northland College in Thief River Falls where she graduated as a beautician.

On September 3, 1960 Annalou was united in marriage to Lester Lavern Helle in Wisconsin. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls and Annalou worked at Northwest Medical Center. Due to ill health she was forced to retire and became a stay at home mother and wife. Annalou was always willing to help out in anyway she could, she enjoyed ceramics, sewing, gardening and flowers. Annalou was a member of the United Methodist Church in Thief River Falls and a member of the Stock-Munsee Band of Mohicans.

She is survived by her son Neal (Mindy) Helle of Red Lake Falls, MN; grandson Connor Allen Helle of Red Lake Falls, MN; brothers and sisters Leroy Miller of Bowler, WI, Allen (Kathryn) Miller of Bowler, WI, Uwanda (Darrell) Schoenfeldt of Oak Creek, WI, Carol Goss of Gresham, WI, Charlene Reiter of Keshena, WI, Peter Miller of Bowler, WI and Marvel Miller of Bowler, WI along with many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Lester, daughter Jennifer Helle, brothers and sisters Roger Miller, Dewey Miller, Leon Miller, Imogene Beilke, Noreen Welch, 4 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law and an infant brother Paul.
