Being the only daughter, she was referred to as Daddys little girl, or Sis . The Pederson family later moved to Beltrami, MN, where Anne attended school.
Anne was united in marriage to Jacob VanderWeg on October 28, 1937. The couple resided in Crookston until 1944, when they moved to a farm in Red Lake County. Together they farmed and raised their children, Barbara Jean, who was born on November 20, 1939, and Gary, who was born on July 24, 1948.
Jacob died in 1976. Anne then sold the family farm and moved to a small house in Red Lake Falls, where she lived for several years. In June of 2007, she moved to Hillcrest Senior Living, where she has since resided.
