Annie Simanovski, 85, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 9, 2005 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Gary Graff officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN with a 7:00 P.M. prayer service on Thursday evening and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
Annie Isabel Cameron was born on December 22, 1919 in Pembina, ND, the daughter of George and Violet (McMartin) Cameron. She attended rural school in Kittson County near Hallock.
Annie was united in marriage on July 16, 1949 to Walter Simanovski in Red Lake Falls, MN. The couple lived in Red Lake Falls, where she worked at Murphys Caf for many years. Walter died on December 2, 1986. On February 2, 2002 Annie entered Hillcrest Nursing Home.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, gardening, canning and loved working with her flowers. Annie could get a stain out of anything.
Annie is survived her children: George (Cheri) Simanovski of St. Hilaire, MN, Rosie (Dave) Armstrong of Euclid, MN, Violet (Ronnie) Pahlen of Newfolden, MN, Diane (Joe) Grembowski of Thief River Falls, MN, Betty (fianc Bruce) Simanovski of Red Lake Falls, MN, Phyllis (Charlie) Brauneis of Bemidji, MN, Richard Engel of Maple Grove, MN and Billy Engel of Minneapolis, MN; 21 grandchildren: David (Cass) Simanovski, Beth (Danny) Simanovski, DeAnn (John) Stevens, Mark (Heather) Armstrong, Justin Armstrong, Chris (Lynn) Pahlen, Janelle Neari, Amy (Kevin) Schroeder, Craig Pahlen, R. J. Foy, Ashley (Fianc Brett) Foy, Daniel Grembowski, Crystal (John) Grembowski, Amanda (Eric) Grembowski, Eric Grembowski, Chariti (Dennis) Kuester, Jeremy Rhode, Anthony (Randi) Rhode, Penny (Aaron) Farnsworth, Steve Nygaard and Amy (Harvey) Nygaard; 2 step grandchildren Jim Stolp, Lisa Jackson: 32 great grandchildren: Ondrayah, Troy, Jessie, Brook, Kylie, Kansas, Dylan, Logan, Isak, Hailie, Christian, Morgan, Benjamin, Blake, Garrett, Mason, Kaleb, Bailli, Kaliann, Donavin, Austin, Abigail, Damian, Kylar, Aleah, Matthew, Jessica, Aaron, Tammy, Tracy, Trevor, Billy Jr.: four step great grandchildren Zachary, Jordan, Briana, Sonny. One brother, Bud (Sharon) Cameron of Thief River Falls, MN; two sisters: Mae Bonderenko of Lake City, FL and Marie Weber of East Grand Forks, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Violet Cameron; her husband, Walter; daughter, Judy LaBar; brothers: Archie and George; twin brother and sister, Donald and Donafer; sisters: Dorothy Hagl, Bonnie Blilie and Pearl Zutz and infant sister.
