Obituary

Antoinette Nettie Perreault, 95, died March 27, 2005 at Riverview Hospital, Crookston, MN.

Antoinette Marie Nettie Remick was born in Donnybrook, ND, December 13, 1909, the daughter of George and Antoinette (Heiker) Remick. Nettie was united in marriage in 1929 to George Perreault at St. Marys Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls. The couple lived near Terrebonne, MN. They then moved to a farm east of Brooks, MN in 1933. The couple returned to Terrebonne in 1937. In 1941, they moved to John Helms farm, spent 5 years there and then later moved to the Perreault Homestead. In 1974 found the couple in Brooks, MN at the Senior Circle. In 1979 Nettie and George celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. George died in 1980. Shortly after, Nettie moved to the Sunview Center, Red Lake Falls, MN, where she lived until she died.

Nettie loved to crochet, belonged to the Red Hat Society, was an avid gardener, especially flowers and was known as the Teddy Bear Lady. Nettie also loved to play cards, bingo and scrabble.

Survived by one daughter, Sister Clariet, Crookston, MN; four sons: Francis (Ann), Red Lake Falls, MN, Steve, Fargo, ND, Mike (Mary), Kirkland, WA and Ralph (Deb), Red Lake Falls, MN; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Brule, Apple Valley, MN; three brothers: Bernard (Jeanette) Remick, Red Lake Falls, MN, Edward Bill (Marion) Remick, Lansing, MI and Kevin Remick, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, George; one son, James; parents; one sister, Marion Aho; and four brothers: George, Dan, Joe and Ken Remick.
