Ardell Louise Olson, 67, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her home in Red Lake Falls surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services for Ardell Olson will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls with Reverend Gary Graff Officiating. Burial will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery near Fosston, MN. Visitation will be held on Friday 5 - 8 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with a 7:00 PM prayer service and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Ardell Louise Olson was born May 1, 1945 daughter of the late Tenis and Alice (Lucken) Wiberg at Fosston, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Fosston, MN. She attended Fosston Elementary School and graduated from Fosston High School in 1963. In 1965 she was united in marriage to Arlen Olson He passed away October 1985. Ardell worked at the Clearwood Group Home in Red Lake Falls from 2001 until 2010. She also worked at the Chateau Motel in Red Lake Falls. Ardell enjoyed going to the casino, attending family gatherings, making homemade dumpling soup and chocolate fudge at Christmas time. She is survived by her life partner Joe Bauer of Red Lake Falls, MN; Brian Olson of Fosston, MN; Darin (Tammy) Olson of Warroad, MN; Charlene (special friend Dustin) Olson of Warroad, MN; Michael Olson of Red Lake Falls, MN; Cheryl (Dean) Loerzel of Red Lake Falls, MN; Waylen Olson of Warroad, MN; Jennifer Olson of Red Lake Falls, MN; Kyle (Jessica) Olson of Baudette, MN; Brandon (special friend Chrissy) Olson of Devils Lake, ND: 19 grandchildren: Chassidy and special friend, Casey, Keaton, Graysen, Dustin, Cody, Lexi, Nikki, Katelyn, Mckayla, Kaylee, Benji, Devon, Stella, Angel, Mollie, Abby, Gabe, James and Logan: 3 great-grandchildren Carly, Mason and Carson. Brother Duane (Elaine) Wiberg of Hatton, ND: sisters Audrey (George) Doyle of Fosston, MN; Viola (Don) Moen of Denver, CO; Vivian Anderson of Lengby, MN; Sharon (Morris) Haugen of Crookston, MN; along with many nieces and nephews. Ardell is preceded in death by her parents, husband Arlen, Daughter Wende Bender in 2007 and brother Clarence.
