Ardell "Della" Stine, 84, Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Memorial service will be Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at Johnson Funeral Service with Reverend John Golv officiating.  Burial will be at Beltrami, MN at a later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ardell "Della" Joan Garrison was born October 9, 1934 in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Albert and Ina Gladys (Tinkham) Garrison.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church, Crookston, MN.  Ardell graduated from Crookston High School in the class of 1952.

On December 25, 1954, Ardell was united in marriage to Leslie Stine.  The couple lived in Fertile, MN, Crookston, MN and in 1967, they moved to Grygla, MN.  In 2003, they moved to Thief River Falls, MN.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Grygla, MN.  Ardell worked at Land-O-Lakes Turkey Plant for about 20 years.  She also bartended at Diamonds in Grygla for a few years.  She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, flower gardening, traveling, camping and spending time outdoors. Most of all she loved the time spent with her family.

She is survived by 3 children: Laurel Stine, Thief River Falls, MN, Lee (Theresa) Stine, Newfolden, MN, daughter-in-law Joleen Stine, Thief River Falls, MN; 4 grandchildren: Jeremy Godshall, Ashlyn Stine, Jasmyn Stine (Evan Chaput), and Brandie Stine, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her husband Leslie, parents, an infant son, son Louis, siblings, Illo Garrison, Raymond (Darlene) Garrison, Orrin (Sara) Garrison and Pearl Matson.
