Ardelle Offerdahl, 66, died on Friday, January 5, 2007 at her home in Thief River Falls.

Funeral service will be 2 PM, Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Gary Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be 4 PM to 7 PM, Monday, January 8, 2007 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with a 7 PM Prayer service Monday evening and also at the church for one hour prior to the service, Tuesday.

Ardelle Elaine Olson was born September 18, 1940 at Mercy Hospital, Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Rangvold and Thilda Dagne (Ness) Olson. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith and graduated from Central High School, Devils Lake, ND in 1958.

On June 13, 1959, Ardelle was united in marriage to Calvin Offerdahl at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls. Together they made their home in Thief River Falls. To this union two children were born: Cari and Cory. Ardelle was employed as a waitress at the Rex Caf, a dental assistant for Dr. Johnson and Dr. Keys, Avis airport car rental and worked at Franklin Middle School, Lincoln High School and Knox School. In 2002, she retired from Challenger School as an educational assistant.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls and active in Sunday School and church circles. She enjoyed tennis, golf, baking, camping, spending time at the lake cabin and especially loved being with her children and grandchildren.

Ardelle is survived by husband, Calvin Cal Lee Offerdahl, Thief River Falls, MN; 2 children: daughter, Cari Lain and husband, Randy Naeseth, Valley City, ND and son, Cory Allen and wife, Tina Offerdahl, Bemidji, MN; 4 grandchildren: Brandon and Colin Naeseth, Taylor and Tatum Offerdahl; brothers: Dale Olson, California and Robert and wife, Mavis Olson, Coon Rapids, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rangvold and Thilda Olson, sister, Betty Violette, brothers, Raymond and Norman and sister-in-law, Yoko Olson.
