Arden Lundeen, 70 of Oklee, MN passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND with his loving family by his side.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. The service to celebrate Arden's life will be 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, rural Oklee, MN. Please wear your mask and practice social distancing.

Arden Floyd Lundeen was born June 20, 1950 in Crookston, MN the son of Floyd and Violet (Monson) Lundeen. He was baptized and confirmed at Oak Park Lutheran Church, rural Oklee, MN. He attended country school in Deer Park Township through the 6 ^th grade and graduated from Oklee High School with the class of 1968. Arden spent that summer in Montana gaining farming experience.

Arden then attended the AVTI in Thief River Falls for auto mechanics. Following college, he worked for several carpenters in Thief River Falls and worked on many houses and businesses throughout northwestern Minnesota.

On April 27, 1974, Arden was united in marriage to Mary Jo Carriere at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Brooks, MN. To this union four wonderful children were born, Michelle, Andrea, Vanessa and Chad. In 1975, Arden purchased the Lundeen Family Farm from his parents in Deer Park Township, Pennington County, MN. There they raised their children, milked cows and raised small grains. Arden has been very proud to watch his son and grandchildren follow in his footsteps on the Lundeen Family Farm.

He dearly loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed the kids' activities. If he was not able to attend, he was always interested in what they were doing. Arden enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting. He was a hardworking, social, caring and kind man who connected well with people. Wherever he saw a need Arden would lend a helping hand.

He served on the Deer Park Township Board in several positions for many years and was a member of the Oklee Jaycees when his children were young.

Survivors include his loving children, Michelle Bakken of Thief River Falls, MN, Andrea (Chris) Stephenson of Hutchinson, MN, Vanessa (Mike) Wilebski of Thief River Falls and Chad (Mary) Lundeen of Oklee, MN; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jennica, Baylor, Blaine (Alexis), Haley (fiancé, Adam), Mason, Elijah, Rylan, Dylan and Braylee; siblings, Crystal (Glenn) Bergerson of Fosston, MN, Vincent (Gelene) Lundeen of Oklee, MN and Denise (Tim) Disrud of Fosston, MN; sister-in-law, Judy Lundeen; brother-in-law, Chris Jenson; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Wanda Lundeen, David Lundeen, Marcia Jenson and an infant sister, Janelle; brother-in-law, Jerry Carlson; and step-mother, Ruth Lundeen.
