Arleen Reese passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Sanford Hospital on Broadway in Fargo, ND.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Newfolden, MN following the visitation.

Arleen Edna Reese was born April 29, 1939 daughter of James and Reva (Brunson) Lester at Fillmore, UT. She was raised there and attended school at Fillmore.

She was united in marriage to Warren Reese. She worked at the Rainbow Club in Strandquist, MN, the Peppermill in Mesquite, NV, the Oasis in Mesquite, NV and the Strandquist Café.

Arleen enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, traveling, visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her children Calvin (Maureen) Banyan of Plano, TX, Doug (Joanne) Reese of Bountiful, UT, Palmer Reese of Thief River Falls, MN and April (Shawn) Puryear of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren Kelsey (Dave) Gamblin, Kimberly Reese, Scott (Angela) Reese, Eric Reese, Cassie Reese, Cody Reese, Colton Reese and Chance Reese; great-grandchildren Jack, Duncan, Badyn, Nolan, Chealyn, Conner, Cairysa and Rylee; brother Douglas Sly of Utah.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Reva Lester.
