Arlin Larson, 71, Trail, MN, formerly of Thief River Falls, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at his residence.

Gathering time for family and friends will be held from 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM with a time of sharing at 5:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Arlin Lew Larson was born on January 29, 1952, in Thief River Falls the son Lowell Gordon and Lois Elaine (Schjelderup) Larson. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. He attended school at Knox Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1970. He went on and attended AVTI in Thief River Falls.

Arlin started work at the Pennington Hotel and then went on to start his baking career in Grand Forks.

After moving to Minneapolis, he worked as a baker for various places, most recently the Uptown Oven. He was friends with people at Mannings and the Sportsman's Bar.

Due to failing health, Arlin returned to live in Thief River Falls, and for the last few years has enjoyed life on his hobby farm in Deer Park township.

Arlin enjoyed cooking and baking.

Survivors include his siblings, Kern Larson of Holt, MN, Terry (Maggi) Larson of Thief River Falls, Renee Larson near St. Paul, MN and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
