Arne Lars Kvasager was born March 22, 1932, at Oklee, MN, the son of Olav and Kathrine (Mandt) Kvasager. He was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church. He grew up and attended rural school and graduated from Oklee High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army from July 21, 1953 until his honorable discharge on June 1, 1955.

In August of 1967, Arne was united in marriage to Roberta Brown at Oklee, MN. He was a parts man in Montana and then returned to the family farm. He then moved to Minneapolis as a truck mechanic and returned to Oklee in 1997. He spent winters in Minneapolis.

Arne held membership at Salem Lutheran Church and American Legion. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop, hunting, rebuilding old tractors and working with metal. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survived by daughter, Cindy (James) Modeen, Ramsey, MN, step-son, Kim Van Vickle, Minneapolis, MN and foster daughter, Linda (Dennis) Breggemann, Shakopee, MN; grandchildren, Wade, James, Trent, and Modeen, Ramsey, MN; Eric, Danny, Robert, Joey, Chrissie, Loren Van Vickle, Nicole and Jennifer Breggemann; a great grandchild, Haley Van Wells; sisters, Anne (Milton) Manthei, Grand Forks, ND, Gerda (Arlen) Koskela, Plummer, MN and Helga (Morrie) Nissen, Hitterdahl, MN; brothers, Bjarne (Viola) Kvasager, Oklee, MN, Goodwin (Lucille) Kvasager, Plummer, MN and Einar Kvasager, Oklee, MN; sister-in-law, Donna Kvasager, Oklee, MN and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Olav, Jr. and Otto and a sister, Annie in infancy.
