Arnold Anderson, 84 of Trail, MN died on Monday, June 18, 2001 at St. Marys Nursing Center in Detroit Lakes, MN. Arrangements with Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at 1:00 PM in Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN with Reverend Steven Sparley Officiating. Burial will be held in the Clearwater Lutheran Cemetery at Trail, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Tuesday only.

Arnold Theodore Anderson was born April 7, 1917 in Johnson Township, Polk County, rural Trail, MN son of the late Stener and Emma (Trydahl) Anderson. He was raise in the area and attended rural School. He entered the US Army in 1942 and served during the WWII. Following his honorable discharge he farmed near Trail for a short time. He moved to Whitewater, MT where he farmed and ranched for the Milton Olson family. Following his retirement he returned to his family homestead near Trail, MN. He has resided at the St. Marys Nursing Home since January 5, 2001.
Arnold was a member of the Clearwater Lutheran Church and loved to watch birds and animals.
He is survived by his two sisters Betty Kuball of Detroit Lakes, MN and Violet Clark of Trail, MN: Several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ole Anderson, Oscar Anderson, Selmer Anderson and Henry Anderson and one infant sister.
