Audrey Sortedahl, 90, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Wednesday, March 1, 2000 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red lake Falls, MN. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2000 at 11:00 AM in the Presbyterian Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend David Endriss Officiating. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 " 7 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Audrey Lewis was born November 27, 1909 in Minneapolis, MN daughter of the late William and Lida (Gilbert) Lewis. She was raised and attended school there. Audrey worked for the Telephone Company in Minneapolis. On November 29, 1941 she was united in marriage to Ralph B. Sortedahl in Minneapolis. The couple lived in rural Red Lake Falls and in 1948 they moved to their farm South of Red Lake Falls. In 1958 they moved into Red lake Falls where they owned and operated the Tastee Freeze for nine years retiring in 1967. Ralph passed away December 8, 1985. Audrey has resided at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls since August 30, 1996.
Audrey was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Red Lake Falls. She enjoyed collecting Antiques.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews including June Delorme of Red Lake Falls, MN and Joyce Davidson (Daily), Mae Danzel (Daily), Lance Sortedahl and Judy Musfeldt (Sortedahl).
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Ralph.
