Barbara Beito of Thief River Falls, MN, 72, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND A Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 PM, Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN, with burial to follow at Black River Lutheran Church Cemetery. Barbara Estelle Stephens was born August 29, 1942 in Louisiana, the daughter of Tom and Ruby (Gibson) Stephens. She was baptized and confirmed into the Baptist faith and completed her years of schooling upon graduating from high school in Louisiana. In November of 1964, Barbara was united in marriage to Haze Beito in Louisiana. The couple moved to Thief River Falls in 1971. Barbara worked at the Pennington County Courthouse for over 30 years, most recently as Court Administrator, retiring in the early 2000's. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and traveling in their motor home. She is survived by husband of 50 years, Haze of Thief River Falls, MN; sister, Cindy (Wendell) Turner of Shreveport, LA; and many other family and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sandy Field.
