Barbara Jane Myhre, 73, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Friday, August 16, 2013 at her rural Red Lake Falls home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. John Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Aaron Zuch Officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery near Red Lake Falls, MN. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5 - 8 PM with a 7:30 PM prayer service at St. John Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, and also one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Barbara Jane Myhre was born April 3, 1940 daughter of the late Erwin and Frances (Trask) Farden in Terrebonne Township, Red Lake County, MN. Barb was baptized April 28, 1940 and confirmed June 20, 1954 at the First English Lutheran Church of Mentor. She was raised in the Terrebonne area and attended school in Mentor Graduating from the Mentor High School in 1958. On November 29, 1958 she was united in marriage to Sidney Duane Myhre at McIntosh, MN. The couple lived in Crookston, Mentor, West of Terrebonne and finally settling on the farm East of Terrebonne where they farmed and raised the family. Barb enjoyed mowing the lawn, fishing, flower and vegetable garden along with canning. She enjoyed trapping gophers, running around on the golf cart, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and ladies aid in Red Lake Falls. She is survived by husband of 54 years Duane of Red Lake Falls, MN; children Vickie (Tim) Olson of Fertile, MN, Randy (Josie) Myhre of Red Lake Falls, MN, Jody (Howard) Gudvangen of Fertile, MN, Darin (Val) Myhre of Red Lake Falls, MN, Tammy (Marty) Audette of Thief River Falls, MN and Stacy (Jody) Beauchane of Fertile, MN: grandchildren Danielle (Andy) MacDonald, Bryce (Claire Kissane) Olson, Aaron Myhre, Amanda Myhre, Matthew (Kaylee Norlin) Audette, Austin Audette, Jozi (Kyle Nupson) Beauchane, Cody Beauchane, Wyatt Beauchane, Alea Beauchane: great-grandchildren Lauren and Marcus MacDonald: sister Ann (Dan Walden) Schear of Erskine, MN and brother Gordy (Marilyn) Farden of Dayton, MN: brother-in-law Marvin Schear of Red Lake Falls, MN along with many nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in-law Audrey (Derald) Carpenter and Shirley Wheaton and brothers-in-law Wes (Carolyn) Myhre, Rod (Charlene) Myhre and David Myhre. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandsons Nicholas Olson and Kyle Myhre; siblings Betty Schear, Bernard Farden, Richard Farden, Darlene Schear, Beverly Lindsay: father and mother-in-law Sidney and Dorothy Myhre; brother-in-law Larry Myhre.
