Beatrice Peterson, 83, of Oklee, MN died on Thursday, February 10, 2000 at the CNC unit of Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at 1:00 PM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee with Father Gary LaMoine Officiating. Burial will be held in the Brooks Presbyterian Cemetery at Brooks, MN.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Beatrice Adelaide Bernier was born June 5, 1916 in Lambert Township, Red Lake County, MN daughter of the late Fred and Laura (Gibeau) Bernier. She was raised there and attended rural school. On February 20, 1933 she was united in marriage to Evert Peterson at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN. The couple purchased a farm in 1947 near brooks where they lived. Beatrice owned and operated beauty shops in Oklee and Erskine, MN. They spent 40 winters in Florida where she also worked as a beautician. The couple moved into Oklee in 1988. Evert passed away October 19, 1995, and the past few years Beatrice has lived in Valley Home Nursing home in Thief River Falls and since January 1, 1999 has resided at the CNC unit at Northwest Medical Center.
Beatrice enjoyed quilting, gardening and was a member of the sew and save club in Brooks and enjoyed crafts.
She is survived by three daughters; Bonita (Tom) Kloskowski of Cloquet, MN; Sharyl Reppenhagen of St. Paul, MN and Lora Jean (Jerry) Thibideau of St. Paul, MN. Four grandchildren Michelle (Keith) Henaman, Tiffany (Michael) Alm, Jodi (Tom) Patterson and Lisa Kloskowski: 5 great-grandchildren Jennifer Patterson, Taylor Patterson, Kimberly Patterson, Zack Henaman, Josh Henaman. Two sisters Norma (Jim) Vogl of Milwaukee, WI and Eunice Quesnel of Red Lake Falls, MN.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband Evert, parents Fred and Laura Bernier, brother Jerome Bernier and two sisters Dorothy Bergeron and Opal Beyl.
