Bernice Alby Thief River Falls, MN, 78, died Tuesday August 12, 2014 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Irvin Schmitke officiating. Burial will be at Rindal Cemetery, rural Viking, MN. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls. Bernice Ione Alby was born on June 14, 1936 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Albert and Esther (Thompson) Alby. She was predeceased in death by her parents, and brother, Ronald. She is survived by her sister, Carol (Roy) Norum; one niece and five nephews, many cousins, relatives, and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Northwood Home in Red Lake Falls, MN, for the loving care and concern they have shown Bernice, and a special thank-you to Julie Praska-Moser.
