Bertha Solheim, 86 of McIntosh, MN formerly of Oklee, MN died on Saturday, January 30, 1999 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at 11:00 AM in Bethany Lutheran Church rural Trail, MN with Reverend Robert Rains Officiating. Burial will be held in the Bethany Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:30 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee, MN and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Bertha Eleanor Klove was born September 17, 1912 at Plummer, MN daughter of Lars and Christine (Knutson) Klove where she was raised and attended rural school. Bertha was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer Lutheran Church rural Oklee, MN. On November 3, 1943 she was united in marriage to Palmer Solheim at Oklee, MN. The couple lived and farmed in Johnson Township, Polk County, MN for 53 years. Bertha entered the McIntosh Manor Nursing Home in McIntosh MN in May of 1995 and has resided there since. Palmer passed away of October 2, 1995.
She was an active member of the Bethany Lutheran Ladies Aid, enjoyed quilting, gardening, loved animals and nature in general, bur most of all she loved and enjoyed her family.
Bertha is survived by her children Corrine Solheim of East Grand Forks, MN, Lynette Sundrud (Raymond) of West Allis, WI; Warren Solheim (Shirley) of Clearbrook, MN; Susan Jeuch (William) of Euclid, MN; Stanley Solheim of Trail, MN; Maxine Nelson (Gary) of Bagley, MN; Fern Carpenter (Lyle) of Bagley, MN and Elaine Nelson (Jon) of Bagley, MN: 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren: one brother Roy Klove (Ruth) of Detroit Lakes, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Palmer, sisters Selma Bergland and Luella Peterson.
