Beverly Martindale, 67, a cherished member of her Red Lake Falls community, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Fargo, North Dakota. Born on November 1, 1958, in Mayville, Michigan, Beverly's life was marked by resilience, dedication, and a vibrant spirit that touched those around her.
Raised alongside her sister Deb by their loving aunt and uncle, Les and Treva Spencer, Beverly grew up in Mayville, where she attended local schools and built a strong foundation for her future. Throughout her life, Beverly held several jobs, including working in housekeeping at Seven Clans Casino and eventually retiring from McDonald's. Her work ethic was a significant part of who she was, reflecting a lifetime of commitment and perseverance.
Beverly’s personal life was filled with love and family. She married Karl Swaisgood, with whom she had three sons. After their divorce, she moved with her family to Minnesota, where she later married Jim Findell. On June 10, 2017, Beverly found renewed happiness when she married Terrence Martindale. Together, they made their home in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota.
She was a woman of many interests and passions. Beverly enjoyed spending time fishing, playing bingo, and crocheting. She also found joy in playing at the casino and was fond of the slots on her iPad. Above all, she loved her beloved dog and cats, who were constant companions in her life.
Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Terrence Martindale; her sons Jason and Steven; her granddaughter Anastasia; her sister, Deb Wysocki; and her best friend, Rose Heater, along with numerous other relatives and friends who cherished her presence deeply.
Her passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, yet her memory stands enduring—a testament to a woman who embraced life fully, cared deeply for those around her, and left a lasting imprint on her family and community.
A respectful remembrance of Beverly’s life honors the many roles she fulfilled and the love she shared throughout her years. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with the Service of the Word at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 20, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bob Schreiner presiding. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow in the church dining hall. Burial will be at a later date.
