Blake Brekke, infant son, died on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at the Johnson Funeral Service Chapel in Oklee, MN with Rev. Frank Ehling and Rev. Bob Paulson officiating. Burial will follow in Clearwater Cemetery, rural Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.

Blake Nickolas Brekke was born on November 23, 2002 to Nicole Ann Brekke and Nickolas Andreas Vettleson in Thief River Falls, MN. Blake was Baptized by his Great-grandmother Beverly Nething at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN. Due to complications Blake was brought to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND where he later died.

Blake is survived by his parents, Nickolas and Nicole, grandparents: Dale & Shelley Brekke, Oklee, MN; Mark & Anita Vettleson, Brooks, MN; Annette Magnell, Goodridge, MN; great grandparents: Beverly Nething, Thief River Falls, MN; Mavis Brekke, Fosston, MN; Myrl Vettleson, Plummer, MN; Milo & Betty Sandeen, Fullton, TX; Bob & Corlan Kleinschmidt, Oklee, MN; many aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
