Brad Gunderson, 62, of Trail, MN passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at his residence with his loving wife by his side.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee, MN with Rev. Tim Lundeen officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Rural Oklee.

A visitation will start at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024 with a prayer service starting at 7:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee, MN. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Brad Gunderson was born on October 27, 1962 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Minneapolis, MN to Julian and Shirley (Espeland) Gunderson. The family moved to rural Oklee area in 1972 when Brad was in 2nd grade. Brad attended school in Oklee and graduated in 1981. When Brad was 16, he started working for his dad at Gunderson Electric.

Brad married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Hendrickson on September 18, 1982 at Zion Lutheran Church. The couple welcomed two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Megan.

Brad worked for various electrical companies before starting his own company "E&L Electric of Trail" in 1995. He proudly served the surrounding areas until his health declined.

Brad enjoyed golfing and watching the Minnesota Vikings, especially during the NFL Draft. He enjoyed gathering with his friends and family on Sundays to cheer on his favorite team, Minnesota Vikings. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball and sponsored a softball and golf team. Brad loved watching his grandkid's, Gunnar, Aubrey and Ellie participate in various activities and sports.

Brad and Nancy took a trip overseas to Norway in 2015 with family. Brad enjoyed seeing his Norwegian heritage. Brad's response to most comments or questions always ended in "yeah no, no yeah", "turkey's".

Brad is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy; his two daughters, Ashley (Dave) Halverson of Brooks, MN and Megan (Andy) Lukkes of Lake Lillian, MN; grandchildren, Gunnar, Aubrey, and Ellie; brother, Jamey (Suzie) Gunderson of Trail, MN; father-in-law, Morris Hendrickson; brother-in-law, Richard (Jami) Hendrickson; sister-in-law, Cindy (Wayne) Schmiedeberg; nieces, Cheyenne, Shelby, Sydnie, Emma, Natalee, and Lola; great-nephews, Luke and Henry; many other friends and family.

Brad is preceded by his parents, Julian and Shirley Gunderson; mother-in-law, Eleanora Hendrickson; aunt, Audrey Bergerson; aunt and uncle, Les and Lee Espeland; many other family and friends.
