Bradford Brad Cyr, 80, formerly of Oklee, MN, died at his home on Monday, October 6, 2008 in Mountain View, CA.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, Minnesota with Father John Kleinwachter presiding.

Interment will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Oklee, MN.

Bradford Joseph Cyr was born on December 16, 1927 to Frank and Lottie (Beaudin) Cyr in Eveleth, Minnesota. Brad had been a Merchant Seamen and was on the merchant ship that dropped the marines off in Inchon, Korea. He lived several places in California, the last 45 years in Mountain View. He was a volunteer service provider at Lytton Gardens.

Brad loved sharing stories about characters he had met in his life, because, lets be honest, he was one himself. His favorite saying was, Youve GOT to be kidding! He enjoyed dancing, eating, and playing the lottery.

Brad will be remembered for his caring and warm personality and will be missed by his friends and family, especially his good friend, Irene Tanner.

Bradford is survived by brothers, Harold (Shirley) and Frankie (Shirley) Cyr; nieces and nephews, Paul, Stephen, Joe, Mary, John, Catherine, Jerry, Ernie, Brian and Jennifer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lottie and brother Lloyd.
