Brandon Robert Clifford Niemi was born on June 22, 1982 at the Northwestern Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Robert and Sandra (Anderson) Niemi. On August 22, 1982 he was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church and later confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church, both in Thief River Falls, MN. Brandon attended school at Lincoln High School, graduating in 2001. Brandon had worked at Pamida in Thief River Falls and for the last 8 years was employed at Arctic Cat. He enjoyed biking, carpentry, art, fishing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and customizing fishing rods - a hobby he became interested in after he and his brother, Jason, took a class together to learn the art. Brandon spent many hours working on his yellow Dodge Ram truck and snowmobile. One of his proudest accomplishments was completing a 14 hour bike trip from Thief River Falls to Bemidji in one day. He had a special interest in the lives of his niece, Megan, and his nephews, Ashton and Quinn. Spending time with them was something he really enjoyed. Brandon was very strong in his faith and was proud to show it. He rarely missed church, where he loved to hear the message of the Lord and listen to the beautiful music.
