Bruce Dailey passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 near Red Lake Falls, MN.
Memorial service will be held 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Open Arms Christian Fellowship in Thief River Falls with Pastor David Fish officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Bruce Robert Dailey was born August 8, 1960 in Thief River Falls, MN son of George and Elsie (Randolph) Dailey. He was raised in Red Lake Falls, MN and attended elementary school in Red Lake Falls, MN, from 5th grade on he attended Seventh Day Adventist schools in Thief River Falls, MN and Hylandale Academy in Wisconsin. He then returned to Red Lake Falls and went on to receive a GED and welding degree from Northland Technical college in Thief River Falls, MN.
He worked for Glen Strothers with the Bees, he worked for Red Lake County, later for Alvin Nordvik in Grygla installing United States Boundary Markers and various other jobs in the area, on April 13, 1992 he began working at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls where he spent 30 years, retiring on January 17, 2023.
On June 25, 1983 he was united in marriage to Carol Fournier at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Terrebonne, MN. The couple lived in Plummer, MN for 2 years and moved to Red Lake Falls, MN where they have since resided.
Bruce loved to fish, hunt, tinkering with lawn mowers his old cars and boats, and making things with his hands and had a passion for welding. He loved the time spent in his woods and spending time on the computer and reading gun manuals. He enjoyed sharing candy with the neighbor kids.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife Carol of Red Lake Falls, MN; siblings Larry (Cheryl) Dailey of Gainsville, FL, Twyla (Rick) Hallock of Rockland, WI, Clark (Nancy) Dailey of Sutton, AK, Marc (Cheryl) Dailey of Wishek, ND, Dawn (Troy) Logan of Grandville, MI; along with several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nephews; brother-in-law Roger Fournier of Terrebonne, MN and sister-in-law Joan Fisher of Moorhead, MN.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents George and Elsie Dailey, grandparents Millard and Thelma Dailey, Collis and Bessie Randolph, niece Trisha Hallock.
