Verner Bud Glass was born on February 2, 1934 in Crookston, MN, the son of Verner L. and Elaine (Hellum) Glass. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Dorothys Catholic Church in Dorothy, MN and attended Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls.

He entered the United States Army on January 22, 1953 and served in Korea. He was Honorably Discharged on December 7, 1954. Bud was united in marriage to Dolores Huot on September 1, 1956 at St. Dorothys Catholic Church. Bud worked in Milwaukee for a time, following his Discharge. He moved back to Red Lake Falls, where he worked for Thibert Chevrolet, Brule Seed and retired in 1996 from Kleven Ford.

Bud was a fisherman and hunter, especially deer hunting. He also enjoyed entertaining at Moose Junction.

Bud is survived by his wife, Dolores of Red Lake Falls, MN; three children: Todd (Jan) Glass of Red Lake Falls, MN, Tam (Lionel) Sandness of Red Lake Falls, MN and Troy (Michelle) Glass of Bemidji, MN; eight grandchildren: Cody, Robbie and Britta Glass, Jessica and Joshua Sandness and Serena, Cole and Corey Glass; three sisters: Evon (John) Williams of Colorado Springs, CO, Sharon Bregier of Texas and Faye (Martin) Sund of Thief River Falls, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
