Carol Bright, 56, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at her home in Fosston, MN.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee, MN with Reverend Robert Paulson officiating. Burial of ashes will be in the spring at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 14, 2003 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Oklee, MN with a 7:00 P.M. prayer service on Friday evening and at the church for one hour prior to services.

Carol May Bright was born May 13, 1946, at Muskegon, MI, the daughter of Kermit Aasen and Iola Christine Dunrud. She grew up in various places throughout the Midwest, attended school in Grafton, North Dakota and graduated from Brooklyn Center High School in Brooklyn Center, MN. Following school Carol lived throughout the Midwest.

She worked at various jobs before settling in Oklee, MN in the mid 1970s. In 1980 Carol was united in marriage to David Bright. Carol recently moved to Fosston, MN.

Carol is survived by one son, Charles David Bright of Salt Lake City, UT; her parents, Orrin and Iola Anderson of Oklee, MN; two sisters: Deborah Janssen of Madison, WI and Cindy (Randy) Lucek of Campbell, MN; mother-in-law, Freida Bright of Manila, AR; one brother in law, Steve (Carla) Bright of Manila, AR; one sister in law, Dixie (Scott) Peeler of Salt Lake City, UT; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; her father; her grandparents; and her father-in-law, John Bright.
