Carole Pilcher, 71, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at her residence in Thief River Falls, MN with her loving husband at her side.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 30, 2019 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert Officiating.  Interment will follow at Landstad Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.  Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday at the church.

Carole Jean Seaverson was born on June 27, 1948 to Lloyd and Alice (Hagman) Seaverson in Thief River Falls.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966.

Following high school Carole moved to Farmington, MN where she met Ron Pilcher. While living there she worked at G.T. Sheldahl and the Coke Refinery.

On August 2, 1969 Carole and Ron were united in marriage at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls.  They made their home in Farmington before moving back to Thief River Falls in 1976.

Carole had a home daycare where she enjoyed the many little faces that passed through her house.  She eventually went to Arctic Cat where she worked in a few departments.  Carole worked there over 15 years before retiring.  During her retirement she spent most days at home having her grandchildren coming over after school.

Carole hobbies included watching the Minnesota Twins, gardening, crocheting, bingo, crafting, crossword puzzles, and cooking for large groups.

Carole was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Bernard's Catholic Church.  She enjoyed volunteering her time as a Sunday School teacher, a Boy Scout leader, and with activities at Valley Home.

Carole is survived by her husband, Ron of Thief River Falls, MN; children, Renae Pilcher of Warren, MN, Jason Pilcher of Thief River Falls, MN, Rhonda Pilcher of Fargo, ND, and Jeremy (Katherine) Pilcher of Warren, MN; grandchildren, Jared and Kameron Pilcher of Warren, MN; siblings, Bev Pawloski of Thief River Falls, MN, John and Lorraine Seaverson of AZ, Ruby Jenson of AZ, and Roy and Julie Seaverson of AZ; sister-in-law, Rae Pilcher of Rosemont, MN; brother-in-law, Steve and Judy Pilcher of Farmington, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Alice Seaverson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John "Jack" and Lucille Pilcher; brothers-in-law, Ray Pawloski, Jerry Jenson, and Larry Pilcher; and family friend, Tom Loyland.
