Carolyn K. Jablinske, 63, of Thief River Falls, MN died on Friday, August 24, 2007 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls with Reverend Greg Schram Officiating. Burial will be held at a later time at the Holt Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Carolyn Kaye Lysne was born October 16, 1943 in Thief River Falls, MN daughter of Stanley Harvey and Irene Josephson Lysne. She was baptized at Nazareth Church in Holt and Confirmed at Our Saviors Church in East Grand Forks, MN. She attended grade school in Holt and graduated from East Grand Forks High School. Carolyn was united in marriage to Lloyd LaRiviere on September 10, 1961. To this marriage two daughters were born Laurie and Pam. She was later married to Robert Jablinske March 19, 1966 at Newfolden, MN, to this union one daughter was born Deb. Carolyn worked at Valley Home in Thief River Falls as dietary supervisor and medical assistant for 13 years, at the Heritage Center as dietary supervisor and head cook and the last few years part time at Digi Key.

Carolyn enjoyed quilting, sewing and crafts. She was an avid reader who enjoyed cooking, attending auction sales and collecting salt and pepper shakers and her time spent fishing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Carolyn is survived by her three daughters Laurie (Randy) Harger of Thief River Falls, MN, Pam (special friend Keith) Toren of Thief River Falls, MN and Deb (Jim) Trautner of Detroit Lakes, MN. Six grandchildren Jordy Harger, Alicia Toren, Jake Toren, Breann Toren, Chaz Harger and Haley Trautner; one great granddaughter Kayelyn Magner. She is also survived by her mother Irene Lysne of Thief River Falls, MN and brother Sherman Lysne of Rochester, MN.

She is preceded in death by her father Stanley.

The family requests memorials to the First Care Hospice of Thief River Falls.
