Casey Linn Meyer was born on a beautiful autumn day, November 30, 1981, son of Rebecca and Mark Meyer. He joined his heavenly family and friends on Thursday July 22, 2021.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Cathedral of St. Mary, 604 Broadway, Fargo, ND, lunch, and fellowship will follow in the church fellowship hall with Military Honors and burial at the Fargo National Cemetery on 40 ^th Ave N. Harwood, ND; at 1:00 PM

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 6 PM with a 7:00 PM Vigil service at Cathedral of St. Mary in Fargo.

He attended St. John II Catholic Schools Kindergarten thru 12 ^th grade. Following graduation Casey proudly served his country in the Marines from 2000 until his discharge in 2008, achieving rank of Staff Sargent with Special Forces and later as a recruiter. His experience in the Marines played an important role in his life. The Marines taught him the value of discipline, teamwork and investing in a cause larger them himself.

Casey was a generous soul with an infectious smile, a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, soccer, action movies and bowling.

Casey is survived by his loving mother Rebecca Meyer Charlet, stepfather Larry Charlet, brother Jeffrey (Kristen) Meyer, niece Isabelle, and nephew Mark Jr.; grandmother Evelyn Meyer, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Casey is preceded in death by his father Mark, grandparents Hilary Sr. (Joyce) Nowacki, Daniel Meyer, great-grandparents Cora Anderson, Granny and Gonkey Dixon, Gramps and MeMaw Nelius, and Elsie Meyer.
