Charles Annis, 45, of Thief River Falls, MN died at his home in Thief River Falls on Tuesday, January 3, 2011. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN . Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Charles Martin Annis was born on October 10, 1966 to Ronald Edwin and Charlotte Adele (Gausen) Annis in San Rafael, CA. He was raised in Northern California, in the Napa Valley area. He attended school in Cosa Grande. He was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and has battled with that all of his life. In his younger years he delivered pizza and worked as a mechanic at a quick lube place. He was married to Alexis Ryker and to this union two children were born. Chuck had a love of motorcycles and trucks. He enjoyed buying old cars and pickups and fixing them up to sell again. In 1991, he moved to Thief River Falls with his mother, sister Veronica, and her children. He worked for Lonnie Watne farming. He then worked with the Grand Forks Herald newspaper distribution in Thief River Falls. He also started a carpet cleaning business in Thief River Falls called Platinum Plus. Chuck had a love for fishing and deer hunting. While living in Thief River Falls, he has been good friends and lived with Kelly Corneille. Chuck is survived by his mother Charlotte, Thief River Falls, MN, three children: Aleshia and Melissa Annis, California, C.J. Annis, East Grand Forks, MN, sister Veronica Annis, Thief River Falls, MN, two nephews, Nicholas and William Larson, and one niece Sonja Sansenbach. Chuck was preceded in death by his grandparents.
