Charles Kimbrough, 77, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Charles Alfred Kimbrough was born February 16, 1940 in Warren, MN the son of Alfred Ray and Ruth A. (Anderson) Kimbrough.  He served in the United States Navy for 20 years and was Honorably Discharged.  He served four years on the USS Saratoga.  Charles married Ann Breed on March 16, 1974.  They made their home in Thief River Falls, MN.  Charles retired from the Navy in 1977 and joined his father in operating Al's Repair Inc.  He was very proud to see his daughter, Edith Emmalee take over the family business.  The business has grown from small engine repair to model trains, computers & firearms.  He founded the Thief River Falls Model Railroad Club, and was active in the Pennington County Sportsman Club.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ann; daughter, Edith Emmalee; granddaughter, Catalina all of Thief River Falls; children, Ruth Williams & Ray Kimbrough; and sister, Connie Hanna of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceded by son, Gunnar Jon Kimbrough; sister, Eileen; and parents.
