Charlotte Remick, 74, died Saturday, November 2, 2002 at her home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls, Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at 1:30 PM with Father Tim Bushy Celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Josephs Cemetery, Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, followed by a rosary service and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service all in the church.

Charlotte Anne St. Ives was born on November 6, 1927 in Terrebonne Township, Red Lake County, the daughter of Eli and Edna (Pouliot) St. Ives. She was baptized at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Terrebonne and attended Beau Gerlot county school, near Terrebonne and Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, graduating in 1945.

On July 7, 1948 Charlotte was united in marriage to Kenneth Remick at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Terrebonne. The couple made their home on the St. Ives family farm. Besides all the work on the farm, Charlotte was also the bookkeeper for Kens Electric. They retired in 1977 and moved to Red Lake Falls. They spent many of their winters in Arizona. Kenneth died on February 28, 1996

Charlotte was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Guild, past member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Hillcrest Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Red Lake County Council on Aging Board, Beau Gerlot School Clerk and Co-Chair of the 2000 All School Reunion. She enjoyed traveling, socializing, volunteer work, visiting, crafts, crocheting, walking, playing cards, cooking especially fried bread dough, taking care of family and friends, gardening and canning.

Survivors include her children Allen (Lois) Remick, Red Lake Falls, Mary (Donald) Weis, Pine Island, MN, Betty (Roger) Benjamin, Roseville, MN, Rusty (Kristi) Remick, Terrebonne, Barbara (Brian) Knudson, Chanhassen, MN, Charlene (Geri) Lien of Moorhead; grandchildren Jannelle Knott, Brian Remick, Andrea Remick, Tricia Sheehan, Erin Ellingsberg, Genna Weis, Christopher Weis, Kara Benjamin, David Benjamin, Wendy Breiland, Jason Remick, Kurt Remick, Laura Knudson, Kristin Knudson, Megan Knudson, Erik Lien, Kristian Lien and Aaron Lien; great grandchildren Brianna, Brooke, Shelby, Jollie and Megan; and sister Sybil (Maurice) Derosier, Red Lake Falls.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Glen St. Ives, sister Julie Costello and two infant brothers.
