Chris Bergerson, 26, of Grygla, MN died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 in an automobile accident near Mankato, MN.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Monday, February 3, 2003 at Grace Lutheran Church, Grygla, MN with Reverend Paul Knutson officiating. Burial will be at St. Pauli Cemetery, Rocksbury Township, Pennington County, MN.

Visitation will be 5 " 8 PM, Sunday, February 2, 2003 at the Johnson Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN, with a 7 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Christopher Jon Bergerson was born August 7, 1976, in Thief River Falls, MN, to Joni Bergerson. Lyle Anderson became Chris father December 11, 1981. Chris was baptized as a Lutheran. His God Parents are Fern and Brad Holm. He was confirmed into the Lutheran Faith. Chris graduated from Grygla High School in 1995.

Chris was employed at Machinewell, Cenex in Goodridge, MN and was currently working for Murphy Brothers pipeline and trucking for Brian Stanley.

Chris loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his sister, Lindsay, brothers, Kyle and Sam and his niece Mya. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being on the farm. He also played football in high school.

Survivors include parents, Joni and Lyle Anderson, Grygla, MN; brothers and sisters, Lindsay, Kyle, Sam and niece, Mya all at home, Grygla, MN; grandmother, Sharon Bergerson, Thief River Falls, MN; great grandparents, Wallace and Myrtle Evje, Bagley, MN; aunts and uncles, Diane and Dave Lee, Thief River Falls, MN, Heidi and Rod Sletten, Thief River Falls, MN, Gary Anderson, Grygla, MN and Georgia (Gary) Ward. Woodbury, MN; and many cousins.

Preceded in death by grandfather, Rodney Bergerson, grandparents, Evelyn and Luther Anderson and great grandparents, Simon and Idella Bergerson.
