Claren Olson, 48, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at his home in Dilworth, MN.

Graveside service will at be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, May 8, 2006 at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Gary Johnson officiating.

Claren Halvor Olson was born October 29, 1957 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Henry C. and Duaine G. (Peterson) Olson. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN on April 18, 1959 and attended school in Thief River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1976.

He worked at Arctic Enterprise in Thief River Falls for about five years. Claren then moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he worked at Whiteys, Charlies Bakery and J. C. Pennys in maintenance for approximately five years. He moved to Dilworth, MN in 2000.

He enjoyed riding bicycle, following sports on TV and playing Frisbee Golf.

Claren is survived by his mother, Duaine of Thief River Falls, MN; two sisters: Gladee (Dale) Koop of Thief River Falls, MN and Debra Daniels of East Grand Forks, MN; two brothers: Kevin Olson of Minneapolis, MN and Lonnie (Linda) Olson of Crookston, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry in December of 1993 and one brother, Nathan Olson in May of 1994.
