Clarence Arnie Skibicki, 86, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away peacefully Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Thief River Care Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Memorial services are planned for a later date in Thief River Falls.

Clarence Phillip Skibicki was born on October 9th, 1924 in Kratka Township, Pennington County, Minnesota the son of Steven and Katherine (Beringer) Skibicki. He married Helen Battleson and they lived in Thief River Falls until 1978. Clarence bought a hobby farm near St. Hilaire where Arnie and Helen retired. He enjoyed and was loved for gardening, woodworking, fishing, mostly anything to do with the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Through the years, Arnie worked at Land-O-Lakes, Bridgemans, Lens Tire Service and Stordahl Trucking.

Arnie is survived by his wife Helen of 63 years, three daughters, Linda (Harry) Larson of St. Cloud, MN, Barbara (Nick) Koester of Golden Valley, MN and Tammy (Brad) Kosel of Thief River Falls, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Mary (Wayne) Carlson of Sunnyvale, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Dorothy Dodo Skibicki, Agnes Corey and Louise Leah Burtness, brothers, Vincent Beans Skibicki, Stanley Butch Skibicki, Jerome Joe Skibicki, and Pat Woods.
